Horseshoe Tournament

The Rock Creek Skeet Club will host a fund raising Two Man Horseshoe Tournament on Saturday May 22nd from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM behind my house in the open area field. The tournament is open to all residents and guest. All proceeds will go directly to the club kitty to help with the cost of the awards party.

Skeet club members must have a partner that is NOT a RCSC member. Entry fee will be $25 a team. A double elimination bracket will be formed. Winners will awarded trophies. We will have a keg tent on site. Husband/Wife, Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Father/Mistress teams are encouraged.

League Process

Our 12th week of the club league ends this coming Thursday. The final 6 weeks of our league will start April 15th. Towards the end of this next league we will have a random draw for teams who wish to continue shooting this summer. I think Hot Wells will have two more leagues after our season ends towards the end of May.

I will need to know from each of you if you want to be included in the draw for new teams to shoot the balance of this year (this summer). I'm personally looking forward to shooting in shorts, t-shirt and sunshine.

In December we will conduct another draft to establish teams for the 2011 RCSC season.

I want it to be clear that our current teams will continue as they are today until the end of the next 6 weeks.

CRAWFISH BOIL

Scott Stripper Pole Key, Captain of Team Big Shotz and his wife Cyndy will be hosting a Crawfish Boil on Saturday April 17th at 6:00 PM. Margaritas will be flowing much like Scott's hips when he wears his grass skirt. If you desire anything else to drink, bring it. Please leave your shotguns at home.

The Blog

I have decided to replace the barrage of emails that I send out with this Blog. I will post updates, photos and the normal smack talk. I want the site to become interactive so please contribute your comments.

You will find links to the I-Clays site in addition to Hot Wells. You will also find polls posted at times that allow you to vote on club matters. This is my first blog so have patience as I work out the bugs and get this set up in a way that makes it functional. Any suggestions are appreciated.
